Living Victoriously in God's love - The new nature!

To “grow up in him” we just have to get melted, people, into God’s cast of love, because Christ did not please himself, he pleased his Father. You and I do not please ourselves, we please God’s only-begotten son and our Father. So w e grow up in him and he, Jesus Christ, is the head. He is the head.

In Romans 15:13, it just tells you that very plainly. Romans 15, verse 3. Did I say 13? {you did} Take a one off of it. {chuckles} Look at verse 1.

Romans 15:1a: We [who] are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the [“immature” is the text]…

You see, in a ministry like the Word, there’re always babies (spiritually) being born, right? Every day when we witness the Word and we share the Word, people get born again. They’re the immature ones. And we, who have been in it longer, have a greater knowledge, what do we do? We “bear the infirmities.” That doesn’t mean their sickness, not what it’s talking about. We lift them up, the immature ones. We don’t please ourselves.

Therefore, it is by in and through God's grace that we were saved, rescued, ransomed, made absolutely whole and complete by means of the believing of Jesus Christ. And this gift of God's grace, who is Christ Jesus, was not out or from you, but in contrast, the gift of God was the offering of his son, Jesus Christ.

Today I'm going to discuss or teach the threefold origin of polytheism. Polytheism means many gods, and the Trinity is polytheism. I don't care who says that three equals one. And as we will read in this class, we're going to, I'm sorry, will be forced to read some theological garbage. And they will tell you that three equals one, they will try to couch that formula in some gobbledygook, and try to disguise it. But still one is one, and three is three.

If you think Jesus Christ is God, you're more likely motivated by fear. But if you know that he's a wonderful man, the Son of God, and what he did that he had to walk, he had to believe God had to renew his mind, all the way to that cross. Then we will love God and we will love him, and we will not have to receive the grace of God in vain. The doctrine that Jesus Christ is God completely negates any identification with him. Oh, he was God, I couldn't possibly raise anyone from the dead. I can't even smile. Now Second Peter, chapter one, verse two, grace and peace. Those are not really available,if you think Jesus Christ is God, Grace and peace be multiplied unto you be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God.
