Our God Is Able

Saturday Jul 10, 2021
Our times are similar to those of Daniel; our God will take care of us when we take a stand, just as He took care of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

The Light Of Life
Saturday Jul 10, 2021
Saturday Jul 10, 2021
God is what, people? {Light.} All the way from Genesis 1:3 through to Revelation 22, all the way through the Word it’s, “God is light.”
Now, how in the world can anybody then say they have light if they don't know the true God? It's a counterfeit. It has to be a counterfeit. Either that or the Bible is a counterfeit. Nobody can say that he has light until he has God, until he knows God and God knows him. That’s right.
God is light. And if anybody is ever going to have light, he's got to have God, ma’am. And the only way you ever get around to getting God is getting to His Word. For God is spirit. John 4:24. Remember? God is what? {Spirit.}
Therefore, the only way you can ever know about God is you've got to get to His Word. His word makes known. It declares God; makes known God who is spirit. And people, they have to have that light in order to know God. And until they know God, they're going to walk in darkness. They're going to say, well, I have light, but somebody saying it is sometimes far removed from the reality of having it.

Stealing Your Healing

Luke 8:43-44:
And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,
Came behind him, and touched the border…
The word ‘border’ is the word ‘hem’. Just the border. We understand what that means. What to you is the border is a hem is a border, a border is a hem.
Luke 8:44:
… of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.
Which means it dried up. It terminated.
Here’s a woman who has been very much afflicted for 12 years, and usually if you’ve been afflicted for any great length of time – like 12 years, or one man 38 years in the Word – there’s very little believing left that God is still able to do something. Here was this woman who had this sickness for 12 years. She had done everything she could, everything she knew how to do [sense knowledge wise 00:17:54]. She had not just sat around and prayed and done nothing, she had been praying but she had also been acting, doing everything she could and yet somehow or other she was not delivered. Because it said she neither could be healed of any or cured.

The Lord’s Freeman
Saturday Jul 10, 2021
Saturday Jul 10, 2021
Tonight I'd like to share something about the Lord's freeman. I forget when I first used the phrase-; among our people that- sort of caught on when I said you are born to live; you are born again to serve. In our first birth we received our natural life and that natural life will be ours for all the years that we live. But in the second birth we received Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and we received . eternal life. Eternal life is for all the years we live, and that's eternal. The natural life, sixty, seventy, eighty, I don't know how many years, but that's the end of it. But if you have eternal life, if you're born again, you will have it throughout all eternity, in my mind it's absolute stupidity for any man to remain just a natural man when eternal life is available to all men. (Example of Justin Wilson) This matter of the Lord's freeman is not just to. be born to live. But if you were not born to live you could not be born again. The second birth is primarily a birth to serve. John 3:1-4 John 3:5 "born of water" - first birth, natural birth "of the spirit" - second birth John 3 ». 6 "that which is.born of the flesh is flesh" - That's the natural man. It will always be flesh. "That which is born of the spirit" will always be spirit. The first is natural; the second is eternal life. John 3:7-12 John 3:13 "which is in heaven" - Scratched in all texts John 3:14 John 3:15 "not perish but" - Deleted in texts John 3:16-19 There's one of the great records in God's Word regarding the natural man who needs to get born again. The teaching is very simple, very plain and very easy. Our first birth gives us natural life as long as we live. Our second birth gives us eternal life as long as we live, and that eternal life is throughout all eternity. People love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil, and that's why they do not desire to be born again. A man must be born again in order to have eternal life..

Zealous for His House
Saturday Jul 10, 2021
Saturday Jul 10, 2021
Psalms 69:9:
For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.
This is the quotation in John from the Book of Psalms. The accurate, literal translation according to usage from the Aramaic that I have worked out to the best of my ability is as follows: “My zeal made me courageous to defend your house.”
And that is accurate. His disciples remembered that it was written, “My zeal made me courageous to defend your house.”
If you will put that translation into the Psalm in 69, verse 9, “For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; [made me courageous to defend your house. My zeal made me courageous to defend your house] and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.”
Then it will fit like a hand in a glove in the United States. The zeal made me very courageous, or made me courageous, to defend your house. The disciples remembered that. Jesus Christ coming back into the temple, he was very courageous. Courageous to defend the house, the temple.
You and I certainly could not do less regarding God’s Word today. And that is that our zeal should defend. Be very courageous about defending, holding forth the greatness of God’s Word.
The temple at the time of Jesus, was there with the fulfilling of the law. And Jesus Christ coming into that temple, seeing how devilish they were using it, how just contrary to God’s will they were utilizing it. He drove the sheep and the oxen out, overthrew the tables of the money changers, and he said to the men, “Get out of here, this is my Father’s house. Don’t make it a den of thieves.”
What they were doing was they were cheating. They were selling second-rate animals at first-rate prices. They were selling animals that were maimed at high prices. And God had demanded that the animals that would be sacrificed, for instance, had to be male lambs of the first year and without any imperfection in it. But they were selling older lambs, sheep, and they were imperfect. They couldn’t get the top dollar for them on the market, but they could get the top dollar out of the people. And therefore they were selling them.

The Believer vs. Defeated Spiritual Powers
Saturday Jul 10, 2021
Saturday Jul 10, 2021
Take your Bibles tonight and go to Galatians, please, Chapter 2.
I’d like to share from the Word of God with you tonight on the subject of Victorious Living. As a Christian believer, your believing dare not be based on gold. It has to be based on God. They say that man’s best friend is his dog. Man just got it backward, like man always does. No born again one conquered the adversary. It was Christ Jesus who conquered the adversary for every believer, and we were completely identified with Christ in his complete work. In Galatians 2:20, it says:
Galatians 2:20
I … [was] crucified [that’s the text – I was crucified] with Christ:
So when Christ died, we died with him (the believer, the one who is to be a believer, the one whom God knew from before the foundations of the world would believe the Word when they heard it) for that individual, that individual when Christ was crucified, that individual went with him.
Verse 20 continued
I … [was] crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me Christ liveth in me. Ladies and gentlemen, if that is true, this has to be a victorious living reality.
Verse 20 continued
Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh [in the senses category, in this world, the life I now live in the flesh] I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and who] gave himself for me. Isn’t that fantastic? You see, the adversary, he is the keeper of the “prison house of death,” but our God blew the doors off in the resurrection. That’s right.

The Cleansed Conscience
Friday Jul 09, 2021
Friday Jul 09, 2021
Very few people know what conscience is. They know they have one. It's like feet. But they have really never… They've heard the word used almost all their life, but they really don't know what it is. I have yet to find a psychologist or a psychiatrist who knows what a conscience is. They've all got one, but nobody has ever really ferreted out to what it really is.
And, people, it's just so simple. That's why they've missed it. Conscience is nothing but your habit pattern. That's all. It's all it is. When you were born, you started getting teaching. You were taught. And you believed what you were taught, you acted upon that belief, and that developed your conscience.
Now, if you were taught a certain thing and then you acted contrary to that which was taught, then your conscience started to condemn you.
So conscience, people, in its all of its truth and its least common denominator, is nothing but a habit pattern.
In Romans chapter 2, is where I’d like to begin with tonight. Romans chapter 2, verse 14.
Romans 2:14:
For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature [naturally] the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law [what] unto themselves:
Boy, that's real simple. Real simple. Maybe we ought to read 15, then I'll explain it to you.

Biblical Research
Friday Jul 09, 2021
Friday Jul 09, 2021
I thought tonight I’d share something with you that has been burning in my heart as I travelled around to all these, so far seven weekends in our 40th Anniversary year because people consistently, wherever I go, keep bringing up, “Well, The Way Ministry is a Biblical research ministry and just really what does that all mean?” Well, it’s not nearly as intellectual as it sounds. We are just some people who love God and love His Word, and we love to work it. But, The Way Ministry is a fellowship. You can’t have a fellowship unless you agree on something. If you’re mad at me and I’m mad at you, we’re not going to have much fellowship.
So, The Way Ministry is a fellowship of the followers of the Lord Jesus Christ for the manifestation of the more than abundant life. The Way believers are men and women filled with and manifest power from on high, meaning that they’re filled with the holy spirit. They are men and women who freely avail themselves of fellowship meetings for their spiritual nurture and growth. The Way fellowship is cemented together by the love of God with each individual believer being transformed by the renewing of his or her mind according to the Word of God.
The Way fellowship is not a membership list; it’s not a baptismal list; it is what I have just defined it to be.
The Way Ministry accepts and believes the scriptures, the Bible, to be the true revelation from God and about God, and it is our only rule of faith and practice. It is not our primary rule of faith and practice; it is our only rule of faith and practice. So, The Way Ministry is a Biblical research, a Biblical teaching and a Biblical fellowship ministry. This is for all people. Well, then what is research? Biblical research is not primarily to learn something new, but it is to re-research, to reinvestigate, to rediscover anew the scriptures for ourselves in order to know what God has revealed to us and for our learning. All the benefits of our Biblical research work, all the benefits are designed for those who desire to hear – and that is teaching. When believers meet, that is fellowship. So that is The Way Biblical research, teaching and fellowship ministry.
